[It's not exactly a regular occurrence for Robin to be showing up at Gotham Academy at ten at night, but it's also not exactly unheard of either. Which is why he hardly thinks to somehow get a message across to Maps that he's coming since it's late enough that she should already be in her room thanks to the academy's curfew. Should be. (He really should have known better than to think she followed something as ridiculous as curfew.)
When she doesn't answer his second quiet knock at her window, he purses his lips and jimmies the pane open to take a look inside.]
[Maps is not here. In fact, most of the students of Gotham Academy aren't here. Currently it's spring break and it's one of the few break periods of the school year that students return home for. The ones who have homes to go to, of course. Maps, Kyle, Colton and even Pomeline are all gone for the break, so Olive is by her lonesome.
She's returning from the floor bathroom, in a shirt with a raven on it and pajama pants, ready to get into bed and sleep. That is until she walks in and yelps undignifiably, immediately noticing Damian jimmying the window.]
Hey, who's out there?!
[And immediately she rushes up to the window, outright shoving the pane up.]
[It's only his training that has him avoiding a nasty fall and tumbling inside of the room instead of down several stories. He picks himself up in a second, glaring at Olive.]
Silverlock. [They've never officially met, though he knows who she is of course. He would know who she is even if Mizoguchi hadn't spoken of her several times.]
[She stumbles back when he suddenly rolls into the room and shoots him back a more lukewarm glare. A Robin. Though obviously not the girl who came to the Academy at the height of the Robin uprising in the city. She's not even totally surprised that Maps happens to know one of them, but she doesn't like it.]
Nice to meet you too. [She crosses her arms, not feeling bad about the tone she takes.] Why do you want to see her?
Damian rolls his eyes behind his mask, crossing his arms.] I have some information for her.
[Her suspicions about the meta human status of one of the cooks at the academy had proven true, though not in any way that was harmful to the student body. Apparently Father was aware and had in fact pushed for the man to be hired. Still, Damian had learned that it was better to inform Mizoguchi of these things rather than enable her continued prying. (Because this is totally not enabling.)]
[She raises an eyebrow to that, wanting to ask what kind of trouble Maps has been getting into without her (and her knowledge, but mostly without her.) But this one seems prickly.]
What is it? Is something happening on-campus that she needs to know about?
Uh, no. [She lifts a hand up in a stop motion.] Tell me why you need to see her so badly, that you almost broke into our dorm room at ten o'clock. I know you're a Robin, and you guys don't respect privacy, but that is weird by normal people standards.
[She's a little taken back by how serious he suddenly gets and honestly? She believes him. Which worries her a lot, because this kid must be either around her age or just slightly younger.]
So what, you were trained by Batman then? Guess you would be if you know who I am.
[It could be that Maps just told him about her, but she has a bit of history with Batman. She wouldn't be surprised if he told his partners about her mother and her as well.]
[His scowl relaxes at her easy acceptance, anger mollified by not needing any further evidence to convince her of his identity as the True Robin. He nods at her first assumption.]
Mizoguchi has mentioned you. [But Olive isn't wrong, he would have known about her regardless of Maps.]
Tt. I see. [Damian glances back at the window, frowning and trying not to look disappointed. It's not like he was looking forward to discussing the information with Mizoguchi, it's simply that it was a wasted trip, and that's annoying.
That is totally all it is.
His eyes flit back to Silverlock and he shifts his weight, seizing her up beneath his mask. Of course she would remain at the Academy for the break. It isn't as though she had anywhere else to go.]
What is there even to do around here while class isn't in session?
[It'd be lying to save she wasn't weirded out by the way he acts. Behaving more like some boy with a crush than a grumpy sidekick. Maps could be oblivious to these kind of things, but it's pretty obvious to Olive.
And she doesn't know how to feel, that Maps hid this from her, but then she remembers her feelings toward Batman as a whole. Maps probably didn't want to rock any boats. Boats that don't exist that is.]
Well, they let us have free reign of the open areas of campus in the day. Library is still open and the cafeteria serves food all day long. Otherwise, we're kinda stuck. Gotham City is miles away and they won't take us there.
Sounds boring. [The again, for a school even in Gotham, Gotham Academy sure did have a ridiculous amount of supernatural and meta-human activity.
Though he supposes that wasn't of much interest to most of the student population. Mizoguchi was an obvious exception. And perhaps Silverlock.]
If you want to go to the city, why don't you simply go? There can't possibly be adequate security around while school isn't in session to keep you from going. [It's not like it's hard to dodge a few dumb teachers right.]

That's confidential. So where is she?

I am not a Robin, I am the Robin! Do not mistake me for one of those ridiculous untrained impersonators!

You're her roommate, correct? Is she not here?
no subject
Yeah, she's not. We're on spring break this week. Her parents picked her up this morning and she won't be back until next Sunday evening.
