[The only comment Wei Wuxian makes is a soft huff of exhausted amusement, though he otherwise remains quiet. He's exchanged his tight clinging of Jin Ling for a less full bodied, but no less white knuckled grip on his robes and his eyes remain closed, head bowed slightly. He can still hear Fairy fighting below, but the sounds are growing less frequent, the spiders finally left behind them.
He opens his eyes once to try and check but his vision swims so badly that he risks falling off of the sword and shuts them again immediately. When he hasn't heard anymore fighting for a while and the forest has gone peaceful around them, he finally opens his eyes again, this time careful to keep them focused on Jin Ling's robes and nothing else.]
